Is connecting cTrader safe?

You approve view-only access on cTrader itself. With it TradingSpace reads your history and accounts, and nobody can open or close a trade. You can disconnect an account from TradingSpace at any time.

Does it work with prop firm cTrader accounts?

Yes, if the account appears under your cTrader ID: live, demo and prop accounts all connect the same way.

Do I need to install or keep anything open?

No. cTrader connects from the browser, with nothing to install; new trades are fetched when you open TradingSpace.

How long does the first sync take?

Connecting takes about a minute. The history then comes in on its own; years of trades take longer than a few weeks.
