A MetaTrader 5 trading journal that fills itself.
Connect MetaTrader 5 to TradingSpace in about three minutes with a small connector that never trades and needs no password. Your whole history comes in, then every trade as it closes.
TradingSpace connects imported trades, diary notes, modular dashboard, AI reports, news and risk tools in one free trading journal for traders who want a more professional review process.

No password, not even investor
A small connector — an Expert Advisor — runs inside your MetaTrader and reads the account it is attached to. No login details leave your terminal.
Every trade as it closes
The full history goes first; after that each trade is sent the moment it closes, while MetaTrader is running — around the clock on a VPS.
Never places an order
The connector has no trading code: it reads your history and sends it to your journal, nothing else.
Frequently asked questions
Is the MT5 connector an Expert Advisor?
Yes, a small one. It reads the history of the account it runs on and sends it to your TradingSpace journal. It has no code that opens, closes or changes orders.
Does my prop firm allow it?
The connector does not trade, so it is not a trading robot. Most prop firms allow Expert Advisors that do not trade; if yours forbids every EA, import your history as a file instead.
Do I need to keep MetaTrader open?
Trades are sent while MetaTrader runs. Those closed while it is off arrive the next time you open it. On a VPS it syncs around the clock.
Does it work on MetaTrader 5 for Mac?
Yes. MetaTrader 5 for Mac runs the same connector as the Windows version.
